Frequently Asked Questions for New Members

  1. How should I prep for my first class?
    Skip heavy meals about an hour before, it helps you feel comfy in poses. Wear breathable clothes. Arrive 10-15 minutes early. 

  2. Where should I start if I’m new to the studio?
    Jump into an ‘all levels’ or ‘gentle’ flow just to see what fits your vibe and schedule. They’re welcoming and blend toning, flow, and a bit of meditation—perfect for finding your groove. You can always drop back into more relaxation or take it up a notch and challenge yourself.

  3. What’s the easiest way to book classes?
    Grab our Walla app! It’s super simple for viewing the schedule and upcoming events, seeing any announcements, booking or rescheduling Yoga, Tonal or Red Light and Sauna sessions.

  4. How do I connect with the community outside class?  Watch for our monthly Social with Sarah and other workshops. Join our private Facebook group for fun behind-the-scenes peeks, wellness tips and chats. We often head to The Brim after morning classes and everyone is always welcome to join. It’s a great spot to share and connect!

  5. How many classes should I try to really get the feel?
    Aim for at least three classes with three different teachers. It’ll show you our variety and help you find the styles that click. Everyone has a different style, vibe and pace. Some classes are naturally more social and lively, others quieter and reflective.

  6. What if I’m pretty new to yoga or these practices?
    Totally fine. All of our teachers and our classes are approachable with modifications for everyone. Just breathe, listen to your body, and let our teachers guide you to more strength, flexibility, and calm without going overboard.

  7. Can I add other wellness stuff to my routine here?
    Yes. Our intention is to provide everything you need and nothing you don’t. No pressure, just options. In addition to our yoga classes, you can also try Tonal strength training, Infrared Saunaa, Red Light Pod, Airbike, the Back extension, Headstand stand and vibration plate for better sleep, balance, energy and peace… all in a fun, lighthearted, encouraging way.

This is my Mom, Karen. She and I started Love Yoga in 2010 because we know how powerful this practice is. In this picture she’s 79 and I’m 54 and we’ve now been practicing yoga for almost TWO DECADES! (Update: We’re 82 and 57 and still goin’ strong!).
