Worst gift ever? Or…..

We have the best gifts ever. Here at Love.

So when I say this is the worst gift I ever received… it wasn’t exactly a bad gift. It just wasn’t what I was expecting. (cue attachment to expectations) 🙄

My boyfriend at the time – who is an absolutely lovely person and we are still great friends today – gave me a set of ‘fish wind chimes’….

For Valentines Day. 🤔

Looking back, I’m thinking he knew I was into peaceful sounds… so the chimes were a great idea. But the fish? That was all for him. 100% 🤣

I have never enjoyed ‘frivolous gift giving’.

I’m not into … is it ‘kitchy’ gifts? (is that the word?) LIke knick knacks and such.

Those are for regifting and you know it.

I’ve always tried to give gifts that can be worn, eaten or used to make life more enjoyable. (No I don’t give my family supplements…. at least not as gifts, lol).

Gift Tip: Make it useful so they use it, think of you often and remember you fondly… and what you gave them!  😊
